Why RTF?

Hey everyone!  My name is Alex Connett, but most people call me Alex or A-Conn.  I am from Georgia, but I now consider Texas as my second home.  My freshman year was basically a year of exploration for me and trying to decide what career path I wanted to take.  After taking many geology, chemisty, and calculus classes last year and not enjoying them, I realized that Geosciences was not the major for me.  This summer I realized my new found interest in making short movies and decided that I wanted to take and RTF class and see how I liked it.  I am hoping to gain more knowledge about the media and the movie making process.  I think it is important for all people in general to have a basic knowledge of the media and how it works. I am really excited about this class!
